Nurse Employment : Recruitment Agency's Are Balancing The Benefits

The demand for nurse employment, and projected future increases, are based on the current projections not only for a larger population base, but for an ageing population. In a report released by the Commonwealth Department of Health and Ageing, it was highlighted that the examination of future demand for nurse employment should take into account both the net and gross requirements. Net requirements refers to the number of nurses required to fill the increasing number of vacancies, while the gross requirements refer to the vacancy numbers as well as the extra nurses required to fill the roles created by those leaving or retiring from the industry.
